Graduate projects received support from the Montevideo Audiovisual Partnership Program

Two projects involving graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication received funding from the first 2014 call for proposals of the Montevideo Audiovisual Partner Program, administered by the Montevideo Film Commission of the Municipality of Montevideo. The results were announced on April 24, 2014.

A total of 11 proposals were submitted in response to the call for entries. The following are the selected projects in which graduates are participating:

Documentary Category

- “Maracaná” project, directed by Sebastián Bednarik and Andrés Varela. Guzmán García Rodríguez, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication, was responsible for the screenplay and editing of this documentary.

- “El hombre congelado” project, directed by Carolina Campo, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication and instructor of Editing and Production Workshop 4 at the school, and produced by Gerardo Castelli, the school’s Academic Coordinator of Audiovisual Studies and a graduate of the program.
