The Chief Technology Officer of Banco Itaú Uruguay gave a talk to young participants in the “Camino TICs” program

On June 11, 2014, Daniel Donnangelo, Director of Technology & Operations at Banco Itaú Uruguay, gave a presentation to 22 young participants in the “Camino TICs” program. During the event, he explained how the bank’s IT department is organized and outlined plans for future development and innovation.

“Camino TICs” aims to provide quality training and support for entering the workforce in a market with high demand for personnel and very competitive salaries.

This program initially received funding from the European Union. Today, in addition to the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology (CUTI) and the Rotary Club, this project is supported by Citibank, CSI Ingenieros, Copsa, Cutcsa, El Gallito.com, Fundación Itaú, Montevideo Shopping, and Unión Capital AFAP.
