Publication of the book “Since the Eichmann Trial: On Nazism, the Holocaust, and Their Trivialization”

In July 2014, Universidad ORT Uruguay the book *Since the Eichmann Trial: On Nazism, the Holocaust, and Their Trivialization* by Gustavo Daniel Perednik, a visiting professor in the Department of Jewish Studies.

Drawing on the trial of Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann, the book analyzes the various schools of thought that emerged in the wake of the Holocaust, refuting distortions and offering suggestions to educators.

Perednik is a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (cum laude), and completed his Ph.D. in Philosophy in New York. He studied the humanities at the Sorbonne (France), San Marcos (Peru), and Uppsala (Sweden). He was recognized as an outstanding professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Historical Crossroads of the Jewish People” (2009) and “The Homeland Was a Book. The Bible, Its Legacy, Its People, and Its Land Until 1880” (2010).
