“Carbonillas Exhibition - 14 Works”

October 30, 2014
From September 17 to October 1, 2014, the Faculty of Architecture hosted the “Carbonillas Exhibition – 14 Works,” a showcase of works by Interior Architect Jorge Migues, Full Professor of Workshop 1, Graphic Expression Techniques, and Ephemeral Design at the faculty.

It consisted of a collection of works created during the first half of this year that reflect a passion and commitment to returning to the essentials of drawing, using charcoal and kraft paper to depict the human face.

Shapes, proportions, geometric figures, lines, light, shadows, and gestures are part of this journey back to the basics of drawing, which provides the artist with a sense of fundamental satisfaction after years of focusing his work on architectural and design drawings.

Interior Architect Migues is a Design Architect in the Projects Department of the National Directorate of Architecture at the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works.
