CLEI brings together various universities, research centers, and professional associations, serving as the primary point of contact in Latin America for numerous university professors, researchers, and professionals, and facilitating the promotion and development of computer science in the region.
Mario Fernández, Dean of the School of Engineering, attended the opening and closing ceremonies of the event. Dr. Inés Friss de Kereki, Professor of Programming at the faculty, served as chair of the “Latin American Symposium on Computer Science and Society,” and Dr. Martín Solari, Associate Professor of Software Engineering, chaired the “Latin American Symposium on Software Engineering.” Dr. Gerardo Matturro, Research Professor in the Department of Software Engineering, served on the organizing committee.
