Conference: “The Future of Down Syndrome”

On Friday, October 31, 2014, at 3:30 p.m., ORT Centro (1451 Cuareim) will host a lecture titled “The Future of Down Syndrome” by Dr. Ariel Tenenbaum, Director of the Down Syndrome Medical Center at Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem.
The speaker will present new research on Down syndrome and potential interventions to improve the quality of life, longevity, and intellectual capacity of people with this syndrome. The event is organized by the Down Syndrome Association of Uruguay, the Israeli Embassy, and the Uruguayan Medical Union.

Dr. Tenenbaum is Co-Director of the Adoption Service Unit and Director of the Intellectual and Developmental Disability Evaluation Center, a professional service of the Ministry of Social Affairs at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem.
