In October 2014, the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) recognized the Graduate School of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences as a “Partner in Learning.” The ICAEW is one of the world’s most prestigious professional accounting organizations, promoting, developing, and supporting more than 142,000 members globally. It offers certifications to foster professional development and shares knowledge and technical expertise, with the aim of safeguarding the quality and integrity of the accounting profession.

It was founded in 1880 and is currently headquartered in London, with offices in the United Kingdom, Beijing, Brussels, Dubai, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore.

This institution recognizes universities that share ICAEW’s commitment to education in areas related to International Financial Reporting Standards and the high level of support they provide to their students during their studies.

Additionally, ICAEW grants “Partner in Learning” status to universities that can demonstrate a commitment to the institute’s core principles, ensuring a standard of quality for ICAEW certifications worldwide.

By granting “Partner in Learning” status to a university, ICAEW recognizes its postgraduate accounting programs as courses that provide students with the appropriate training to obtain the International Financial Reporting Standards ( IFRS ) Certification —the IFRSs learning and assessment program.

For this reason, graduates of the Specialization Diploma in Accounting, the Master’s in Taxation and Accounting Standards – IFRS, and the Master’s in Accounting and Finance have the option to obtain this international certification without undertaking additional studies by completing an online assessment in Spanish.
