A systems engineering student was selected for an internship at Facebook

January 30, 2015
Germán Chiazzo, a systems engineering student, is completing an internship as a developer at Facebook from January to April 2015 at the company’s headquarters in Palo Alto, California. He was selected through a rigorous screening process that included internal evaluations by engineers and technical algorithm tests. He will have the opportunity to participate in the creation of solutions for hundreds of millions of users and interact with leading professionals.

Chiazzo applied for this internship as part of the “ORT Programming Contest,” which the school organizes annually and in which he has participated for the past three years. During that time, he was a member of the top-ranked teams that represented the university at the “ACM (Association for Computing Machinery)International Programming Contest.” The tools used to compete in this contest are very similar to those used in the selection tests of multinational companies such as Facebook or Google.
