Workshop: “Position Your Startup in the Global Marketplace”

On November 19, 2014, the conference “Position Your Startup for International Competitions” was held at ORT Centro. It was a gathering of the Entrepreneurs’ Network, during which speakers shared their experiences and offered suggestions to help entrepreneurs submit their projects to international competitions. The event was organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE).

Speakers included:

Gonzalo García, Technical Evangelist for the DX (New Technologies) team at Microsoft Argentina & Uruguay.

José Chiarino and Mariano San Andrea, graduates of the Systems Engineering program, two of the creators of a project that was presented at the “Imagine Cup 2014” competition and qualified for the world finals in the “Innovators” category.

Ignacio Oliveri, creator of ViperMed, a project for which he was recognized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a “Social Innovator” of the Río de la Plata region.
