Articles by the academic coordinator published in the Latin American Journal of Economics

The articles “Intergenerational Mobility and Entrepreneurship in Uruguay” and “Intragenerational Social Mobility and Entrepreneurship in Uruguay” by Dr. Néstor Gandelman, academic coordinator of Economics at the School of Management and Social Sciences, were published in December 2014 in the Latin American Journal of Economics, published by the Institute of Economics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

The article “Intergenerational mobility and entrepreneurship in Uruguay” was co-authored with Virginia Robano, a policy analyst at the Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs and Local Development, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

The article “Intra-generational social mobility and entrepreneurship in Uruguay” was co-authored with Daniel Bukstein, a graduate of the Master’s program in Economics and an executive in the Evaluation and Monitoring Division of ANII (National Agency for Research and Innovation).
