Workshop: "Innovation in the Classroom: Incorporating New Tools"

On February 26 and March 2, 2015, the School of Engineering will host the workshop "Innovation in the Classroom: Incorporating New Tools," led by Dr. Inés Friss de Kereki, professor of Programming, and Gastón Mousqués, M.Sc., professor of Software Engineering. The workshop is intended for faculty members.

The goal is to provide teachers with a space for reflection and to present proven, concrete activities and strategies that can be useful in the classroom.

Some of the concepts that will be presented include peer instruction, the flipped classroom, team-based learning, idea generation, and the visual presentation of concepts.
