Publication of the Marketing Guide/014

The Marketing Guide/014 was published in March 2014 by Market Media; its authors include Dr. (Cand.) Teresa Cometto, Dr. Pablo Fernández, and Mauricio Oppenheimer, an economist, all of whom are professors in the School of Business and Social Sciences.

Prof. Cometto is the Marketing Manager for Personal Care and Home Care at Unilever Uruguay. She is a professor of Advertising Communication and Promotions and Demand Marketing in the School of Business and Social Sciences, and a professor of Social Media in the School of Communication and Design.

Dr. Fernández is a managing partner at MarketingTech. He is a professor of Services Marketing and Relationship Marketing in the School of Business and Social Sciences.

Mr. Oppenheimer is the general manager of Punta Carretas Shopping. He is an associate professor of Marketing in the School of Business and Social Sciences.

The guide was produced in collaboration with Ignacio González, director of the guide; Mr. Nelson Barreto, general manager of Portones Shopping and general administrator of the World Trade Center; and Mr. Jorge Sapelli, director of the Department of Business Management and Administration at the University of Montevideo.

The guide includes the following chapters:

- "Uruguayan Politicians and Twitter," by Prof. Alain Mizrahi, director of Grupo Radar and professor of Market Research at the School of Management and Social Sciences.

- "Entrepreneurs as Agents of Community Change," by Enrique Topolansky, coordinator of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), and Enrique Kramer, academic coordinator of Management at the School of Administration and Social Sciences.

- "The Quality of the Sales Process: A Great Forgotten Opportunity?" by Dr. Pablo Fernández.
