Essay by students in the Bachelor’s Program in International Studies in a book published by ALADI

On April 22, 2015, the General Secretariat of the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI), as part of the Latin America–Asia-Pacific Observatory, presented the book *Essay Contest* at its headquarters - Economic and Trade Relations between Latin America and the Asia-Pacific, which includes the essay “Trade Effects of the Chile-China FTA: A Step Toward Trade Liberalization or a Stumbling Block?” by Sebastián Gabay and Alan Mai, students in the Bachelor’s Program in International Studies.

This essay won third place in this competition organized by ALADI, the results of which were announced in October 2014.

The book was published in Montevideo by ALADI, the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).
