Publication of the book *The ABCs and Ds of Teacher Training*

In March 2015, the Spanish publishing house Narcea published the book *The ABCs and Ds of Teacher Education*, authored by Dr. Denise Vaillant, academic secretary of the Institute of Education, and Dr. Carlos Marcelo García, professor of Didactics and School Organization at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the University of Seville and member of the Academic Committee of the Doctorate in Education at the Institute of Education of Universidad ORT Uruguay.

The book examines the four phases that make up the teacher training process: the stages leading up to a career in teaching, initial training at a specific institution, the first years of professional practice, and ongoing professional development.
