An essay by an International Studies student is one of the winners of the Many Languages, One World contest

The essay “Post-2015 Agenda: Culture and Language in the Pursuit of Development” by Eric Bukstein, a student in the Bachelor’s program in International Studies, is one of the winners of the Many Languages, One World contest, organized by the United Nations Academic Initiative.

The prize consists of a scholarship to participate in the Many Languages, One World Global Youth Forum, which will take place from July 20 to 26, 2015, in New York.

The essay is one of 70 selected from among 1,300 submitted worldwide by students from 130 countries.

The winners were selected to represent each of the official languages of the United Nations: Arabic, Chinese, French, English, Spanish, and Russian.
