Publication of the book *Coexistence in Primary and Secondary Schools in Latin America*

In December 2014, the Santillana publishing house released the book *Coexistence in Primary and Secondary Schools in Ibero-America* in Santiago, Chile. The book was edited by Dr. Joaquín Gairín, a visiting professor in the Master’s Program in Educational Management, and Aleix Barrera-Corominas, a research assistant and associate professor in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

The book includes the chapter “Coexistence in Primary and Secondary Schools in Uruguay,” co-authored by Dr. María Inés Vázquez, academic coordinator of the Master’s Program in Educational Management.

The chapter was co-authored with Prof. Daniel Martínez, former technical secretary of the Education Directorate at the Ministry of Education and Culture; Prof. Karina Nossar, director of the Regional Teachers’ Center of the Uruguayan Council for Teacher Education; and Prof. Marcos Sarasola, coordinator of the Master’s in Education program at the Catholic University of Uruguay.
