Papers accepted for presentation at the Innovative Smart Grid Technologies conference, Latin American Smart Grid Congress

Two papers, co-authored by researchers from the School of Engineering, were accepted on June 11, 2015, for presentation at the peer-reviewed conference “Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (ISGT), Latin American Smart Grid Congress.” The event, organized by the IEEE Power & Energy Society, will take place from October 5 to 7, 2015, in Montevideo.

The articles are:
- “Managing load deferrability to provide power regulation” by Federico Bliman, Ph.D., research assistant and professor of Linear Algebra in the School of Engineering; Andrés Ferragut, Ph.D., associate professor in the Data Networks area; and Fernando Paganini, Ph.D., professor of Telecommunications Theory in the School of Engineering.

- “Economic operation of distribution networks with distributed generation and quality of service” by Enrique Briglia and Sebastián Alaggia, who work at UTE, and Dr. Fernando Paganini, professor of Telecommunications Theory at the School of Engineering.
