A short film by graduating students was named Best Domestic Short Film at the 8th Mar Film Festival

The short film *El guardián*, directed by Pablo Moreira and produced by Lucía Moreira, both graduates of the Bachelor’s program in Audiovisual Communication, was voted Best National Short Film by the public at the 8th Festival de Cine del Mar, which took place from July 8 to 12, 2015, in Punta del Este.

This short film was co-produced by Universidad ORT Uruguay part of the ORT Digital 2013 Project.

Also featured at the festival was the short film *El asado*, directed by Francisco Hordeñana and produced by Valentina Baracco, students in the Bachelor’s program in Audiovisual Communication.
