Publication of articles in the peer-reviewed journal *Emerging Markets Finance and Trade*

Two articles by faculty members from the School of Management and Social Sciences were published in June 2015 in the peer-reviewed journal *Emerging Markets Finance and Trade* (Volume 51, Issue 3), published by Taylor & Francis.

The articles are:

-“Does innovation destroy employment in the services sector? Evidence from a developing country”by Dr. Diego Aboal, professor in the Economics Department of the School of Management and Social Sciences; Dr. Paula Garda, researcher at the Center for Economic Research (CINVE) and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris; and Bibiana Lanzilotta, B.A., professor of Econometrics 2 and Applied Statistical Packages for Microeconometrics at the school; and Marcelo Perera, B.A., instructor of Regression Analysis and Econometrics at the school. Bibiana Lanzilotta, professor of Econometrics 2 and Applied Statistical Packages for Microeconometrics at the faculty, and Marcelo Perera, professor of Regression Analysis and Econometrics 1 at the faculty.

-“Innovation in the services sector”by Dr. Diego Aboal, faculty member in the Economics area of the School of Administration and Social Sciences; Claudio Bravo Ortega, associate professor in the Department of Economics at the School of Economics and Business at the University of Chile; and Dr. Gustavo Crespi, lead specialist in the Competitiveness and Innovation Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Uruguay.
