Presentation of papers at the Biennial Meeting of the Royal Spanish Society of Physics

July 31, 2015
Prof. Ilan Cohn, professor of Differential and Integral Calculus 1 in the School of Engineering, presented three papers authored by faculty members from that school at the 35th Biennial Meeting of the Royal Spanish Society of Physics. This peer-reviewed conference, organized by the Royal Spanish Society of Physics, took place from July 13 to 17, 2015, in Gijón, Spain.

Papers presented:

-“Order of Grover’s search algorithm with both total and local depolarizing channel error”by Prof. Ilan Cohn, professor of Differential and Integral Calculus 1 in the School of Engineering; André Fonseca, Ph.D., professor of Analog Electronics and Automatic Control in the school; Dr. Efrain Buksman, associate professor of Physics at the school, and Dr. Jesús García López, director of the University School of Computer Science at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

-“Implementation of Grover’s Algorithm Using a Discrete Quantum Computing Model”by Prof. Laura Gatti, professor of Differential and Integral Calculus 1 and 3 at the School of Engineering; André Fonseca, Ph.D., professor of Analog Electronics and Automatic Control at the school; Dr. Efrain Buksman, associate professor of Physics at the faculty, and Dr. Jesús García López, director of the School of Computer Science at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

-“Characterization of errors in quantum circuits: isotropy index for n-qubit states”by André Fonseca, Ph.D., professor of Analog Electronics and Automatic Control at the faculty; Dr. Efrain Buksman, associate professor of Physics at the faculty; Dr. Jesús García López, director of the School of Computer Science at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and Dr. Francisco García Mazarío, deputy director of Economic Affairs at the School of Computer Science and the Higher Technical School of Computer Systems Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
