Lecture: “The Iranian Nuclear Threat and the West’s Response”

On September 3, 2015, the lecture “The Iranian Nuclear Threat and the West’s Response” was held on the Pocitos campus, presented by Marcelo Kisilevski, an Argentine political scientist based in Israel. The event was organized by the Zionist Organization of Uruguay and the Department of Jewish Studies.
The speaker discussed the new landscape that has emerged following the agreement signed regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

Kisilevski holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires and a degree in Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has been based in Israel since 1992. He was co-director of Povesham.com. He has published articles in the daily Haaretz and the weekly Jerusalem. From Israel, he has contributed to Página/12 in Buenos Aires, Milenio in Mexico, and various radio stations in Latin America (including Radio del Plata and Radio Jai) and Europe.
