Specific Work Agreement with the Piso 40 Executive Club of Montevideo

November 30, 2014
On November 27, 2014, the university signed a Specific Collaboration Agreement with the Piso 40 Executive Club of Montevideo, which governs collaboration with entrepreneurs identified by the university’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) and the School of Business and Social Sciences.

The parties view this agreement as a way to contribute to the development of successful startups by providing access to financial resources for entrepreneurs emerging from the CIE and the faculty’s ecosystem.

Through the CIE, the university commits to presenting at least eight pre-selected startups to the Piso 40 selection committee each year. Piso 40 commits to organizing at least three meetings per year of its selection committee, during which the entrepreneurs behind the projects preselected by the university will present their ideas.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Gaston J. Labadie, dean of the faculty, Ernesto Kimelman, president of Piso 40, and Mr. Edgardo Novick, secretary.
