A professor spoke at the launch event for the project "Technical Reference Documents for the Standardization of Wood Structures and Buildings"

As part of the event to disseminate and present the results of the project "Technical Reference Documents for the Standardization of Wooden Structures and Buildings," Dr. Laura Moya, a professor and researcher at the School of Architecture, delivered a lecture titled "Regulations for Wooden Structures in the Region: Recommendations for Uruguay."

The event, which was attended by representatives from the forestry industry and business sector, took place on September 4, 2015, in the auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of the Republic (Udelar).

The project, funded by the Industrial Fund of the National Directorate of Industries under the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining, was carried out by the School of Architecture at Universidad ORT Uruguay, the School of Engineering at Udelar, and the Department of Forestry Projects at LATU.
