Articles published in the proceedings of the "Latin American Smart Grids Conference"

Two articles, co-authored by researchers from the School of Engineering, were published in December 2015 in the proceedings of the peer-reviewed conference "Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (ISGT), Latin American Smart Grid Conference," organized by the IEEE Power & Energy Society. The event took place from October 5 to 7, 2015, in Montevideo.

Articles:

- “Managing load deferrability to provide power regulation” by Federico Bliman, M.Eng., research assistant and professor of Linear Algebra in the School of Engineering; Dr. Andrés Ferragut, associate professor in the Data Networks area; and Dr. Fernando Paganini, professor of Telecommunications Theory in the School of Engineering.

- “Economic operation of distribution networks with distributed generation and quality of service” by Enrique Briglia and Sebastián Alaggia, specialists at UTE, and Dr. Fernando Paganini, professor of Telecommunications Theory at the School of Engineering.


The articles were accepted on June 12 and presented on October 8, 2015.
