Its goal is to explore more advanced programming concepts and the new features of Scratch 2.0 as a programming language for creating animations and video games. It is a follow-up to the Scratch 1.4 Basic course, also developed by ORT for Plan Ceibal in 2013.
Academic coordination is led by Dr. Inés Friss de Kereki, Professor of Programming at the School of Engineering, who also serves as an instructor alongside Marcelo Rubino, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Programming, and Ismael Rodríguez, Ph.D., Research Teaching Assistant. Project coordination was led by Dr. Plinio Gañi, a distance education analyst and programming instructor at the faculty.
