Papers presented at the 4th EDO International Conference "Situated Learning and Connected Learning: Implications for Work"

Two articles by scholars from the Institute of Education were presented at the 4th EDO International Conference, "Situated Learning and Connected Learning: Implications for Work." This peer-reviewed conference, held May 11–13, 2016, in Barcelona, was organized by the Organizational Development Team (EDO) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the Center for Legal Studies and Specialized Training, and the School of Public Administration of Catalonia, Government of Catalonia.

The articles are as follows:

- “Building Pathways to Collaborative Work in an Early Childhood Education Center,” by Rita Fagúndez, a graduate of the Master’s Program in Educational Management and principal of Liceo No. 11 in Montevideo, and Andrea Tejera, B.A., academic coordinator of Educational Management at the Institute of Education.

- “Managing the Institutional Image of an Educational Institution” by Mariela Questa Torterolo, professor of Organizational Improvement at the Institute of Education, and Dr. David Rodríguez Gómez, postgraduate tutor at the institute and professor of Applied Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Both works were published in April 2016 in the book Situated Learning and Connected Learning: Implications for Work, edited by Dr. Joaquín Gairín, a visiting professor at the institute. The book was published by Wolters Kluwer.
