Information Session on Chevening/ANII Scholarships

August 24, 2016
An informational session on the Chevening/ANII (National Agency for Research and Innovation) Scholarships will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at the Pocitos Campus (2633 España Blvd.). For the 2017–2018 academic year, these scholarships will be awarded to pursue a master’s degree in the United Kingdom in any field. They are intended for outstanding students and talented professionals of Uruguayan nationality with the potential to hold positions of leadership and influence.

New applicants must demonstrate that they possess the personal, intellectual, and interpersonal qualities that reflect this potential.

Each scholarship covers tuition costs, including exams and the thesis, a monthly stipend appropriate for a student’s living expenses, travel expenses, and airfare.

For scholarship recipients applying for scholarships co-funded by ANII, the current Regulations of the National Scholarship System will apply. There is no age limit.

This event, organized by the university’s Academic Projects Coordination Office, is part of the series of open informational sessions that the British Embassy, together with ANII, is hosting at universities and at Expo Prado 2016.
