Publication of the book *Reading and Writing: Teenagers Facing Paper and Screen*

In May 2016, Planeta published the book *Reading and Writing: Adolescents Facing Paper and Screen* by Dánisa Garderes, a professor of Spanish Language and Digital Technologies at the Elbio Fernández Teacher Training Institute, and Prof. Sonia Scaffo, a professor of Thesis Project Development and the seminar *Contemporary Issues in Learning* at the Institute of Education.

Garderes is also a tutor for the Diploma in Teaching with Digital Technologies offered by the Council for Education Training, the Ceibal Plan, and the University of Cambridge.

Reading and Writing: Adolescents Facing Paper and Screen is a study that examines how students’ reading and writing practices are changing with the introduction of digital technology in the classroom. The book analyzes, from a sociocultural perspective, how changes in the behavior of those involved are interrelated as a result of the coexistence of paper and digital media.
