Teachers presented at the Constructiva 2016 event

Faculty members from the School of Architecture participated in the training workshop and exhibition of construction technologies, Constructiva 2016, which took place from September 28 to 30, 2016, at LATU.

The faculty members who spoke at this event were Architect Ramiro Chaer, professor of Calculus and Structures; Architect Andrés Eliseo Cabrera, head of Special Projects in the Bioclimatic Design area; Architect Laura Moya, a research professor; and Architect Santiago Horjales, full professor of Industrialized Construction.

On September 28, Architect Chaer delivered the lecture "Foundations, Structure, and Roofs" in the “Structures” panel.

On September 30, Architect Eliseo Cabrera delivered the lecture "Why Not? Let’s Talk About the Paradigm Shift," and Architect Moya presented "La Casa Uruguaya Wood Construction System" in the "Applied Technology/Use of Wood" panel.

Architect Horjales delivered the lecture "Building Health with Steel Framing" on September 30 in the "Health and Technological Alternatives" panel.
