A professor won the 2016 Juan C. Onetti Literary Award in the “Poetry” category

Prof. René Fuentes, who teaches Creative Writing in the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication program, won the 2016 Juan C. Onetti Literary Award in the “Poetry” category for his work *Periplo cerrado*. The award ceremony took place on September 29, 2016, as part of the “39th International Book Fair,” which runs through October 10 at the Atrium and Conference Center of the Montevideo City Hall.
