Articles published in the Proceedings of the 19th Ibero-American Conference on Software Engineering (CIbSE 2016)

Two papers, co-authored by faculty members from the School of Engineering, were published in October 2016 in the Proceedings of the 19th Ibero-American Conference on Software Engineering (CIbSE 2016). This peer-reviewed conference, organized by the University of the Armed Forces, took place from April 27 to 29, 2016, in Quito.

The articles are:

- “Usability-oriented software processes: A systematic mapping of the literature” by José Ignacio Rocca, Ph.D., professor of Software Engineering 1 in the School of Engineering, and Martín Solari, Ph.D., associate professor of Software Engineering. Both presented the work.

- “Software development initiatives to identify and mitigate security threats: A systematic mapping” by Paulina Silva, a Ph.D. student at the Federico Santa María Technical University, Chile; René Nöel, Ph.D., a faculty member at the School of Civil and Computer Engineering at the University of Valparaíso; Mauricio Gallego, Ph.D., a researcher at the University of Quindío, Colombia; Dr. Santiago Matalonga, research professor in Software Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of Universidad ORT Uruguay, and Dr. Hernán Astudillo, faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at the Federico Santa María Technical University, Chile.
