Papers by academics presented at the “8th International Conference on Computing and Telecommunications”

Two papers, co-authored by faculty members from the School of Engineering, were presented at the “8th International Conference on Computing and Telecommunications (COMTEL 2016).” This peer-reviewed conference, organized by the School of Systems, Computing, and Telecommunications Engineering at Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University, took place from September 21 to 23, 2016, in Lima.

The papers are:

- “Universal Gate Sets for Quantum Computing” by Laura Gatti, a lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid; Dr. Jesús García López de Lacalle, director of the Higher Technical School of Computer Systems Engineering at that university; Dr. Efrain Buksman, associate professor of physics in the School of Engineering; and André Fonseca, professor of Analog Electronics and Automatic Control at the faculty.

- “Analysis of Error Propagation in Shor’s Algorithm” by André Fonseca, professor of Analog Electronics and Automatic Control at the faculty, Ilan Cohn, professor of Innovation and Design Workshop; Dr. Efrain Buksman, associate professor of Physics; Prof. Emiliano Espíndola, professor of Differential and Integral Calculus 1; and Dr. Jesús García López de Lacalle, director of the Higher Technical School of Computer Systems Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

The articles were accepted in August 2016.
