The men's tennis team won the Silver Cup Championship at the tournament organized by the University Sports League, which took place from October 16 to 29, 2016, at the Montevideo Tennis Club.

The roster included: Alejandro Aguiar, Francisco Amado, Matías De Angel, Joaquín Elizondo, Mathias Ferreri, and Martin Negro.

Teams participating in the tournament: Gomensoro, Numa Turcatti, Old Ivy, Olimar, Perry Sexta, Universidad Católica del Uruguay, Urunday, and Universidad ORT Uruguay.
