The women's futsal team finished as runners-up in the Annual Women's Futsal Tournament - Silver Cup

The women's futsal team finished as runners-up in the Annual Women's Futsal Tournament—Silver Cup, organized by the University Sports League. The final was held on December 18, 2016, at the Montevideo Rowing Club gym.

The team includes: Victoria Álvarez, Lucia Chucarro, Victoria Costa, Elina Da Silva, Valentina De Marino, Maria Eugenia Iduate, Martina Fleurquin, Julia Larissa Kirsten, Camila Lipatin, Daniela Pfeffer, Sofia Ribeiro, and Macarena Vaccaro, under the coaching of Martín Sánchez.

Participating teams included Cali, Defensor, Huracán Buceo, Malvín 59, Montevideo Rowing, La 12 Universitaria, Universidad Católica del Uruguay, and Universidad ORT Uruguay.
