Article published in the peer-reviewed journal *Current Organic Chemistry*

The article “Lipase immobilization on siliceous supports: Application to synthetic reactions,” co-authored by faculty members from the Biotechnology program in the School of Engineering, was published in December 2016 in the peer-reviewed journal *Current Organic Chemistry* (Volume 21, Issue 2), published by Bentham Science.

The authors are:
- Diego Cazaban, B.S., a graduate research fellow in the Biotechnology Laboratory of the School of Engineering and a master’s student in the School of Biochemical Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile.
- Dr. Lorena Wilson, director of the Graduate Program at the School of Biochemical Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile.
- Dr. Lorena Betancor, research professor in Biotechnology at the Faculty of Engineering.

Although the journal’s issue date is January 2017, it was released in December 2016.

The paper was accepted in January 2016.
