Paper presented at the annual meetings of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association and the Latin American Econometric Society

The article “Peer effects in the development of capabilities in adolescence,” co-authored by scholars from the School of Management and Social Sciences, was presented at the annual meetings of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association and the Latin American Econometric Society (LAMES). This peer-reviewed conference, organized by EAFIT University and the Central Bank of Colombia, took place from November 10 to 12, 2016, in Medellín.

The authors of the article are Ana Balsa, B.A., a professor in the School of Business and Economics at the University of Montevideo; Dr. Néstor Gandelman, academic coordinator of Economics and professor of Principles of Economics in the School of Administration and Social Sciences at Universidad ORT Uruguay; and Dr. Flavia Roldán, a research professor of Economics in the same school.

The paper was accepted in August 2016.
