_ Lecture titled “The UN Resolution: Between the Legal and the Symbolic,” presented by Roberto Cyjon, former president of the Central Jewish Committee of Uruguay (2012–2014) and visiting professor at Universidad ORT Uruguay. The speaker analyzed the repercussions of the United Nations Security Council resolution of December 2016.
Monday, February 6
_ Lecture titled "The Palestinian-Israeli Conflict: A Hundred-Year History," presented by Mr. Cyjon, who spoke about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict throughout its history.
Tuesday, February 7
_ Lecture titled "The Crisis of the Liberal World and the Rise of Nationalist Populism: Causes and Consequences," presented by Dr. Alberto Spektorowski, professor of Political Theory and Comparative Politics at Tel Aviv University and visiting professor at the School of Management and Social Sciences at Universidad ORT Uruguay. The speaker reflected on the causes and consequences of the current political landscape.
Wednesday, February 8
_ Lecture titled "Israel as a National and Liberal Model: From Marginalization to Role Model," presented by Dr. Spektorowski, who discussed the State of Israel's journey toward the consolidation of its democratic institutions.
