Academic project selected by the Education Sector Fund

The project “Ubiquitous Learning: Mobile Devices and Learning Environments in the Initial Training of Secondary School Teachers in Uruguay,” presented by scholars from the Institute of Education, was selected in December 2016 by the Education Sector Fund, under the “Digital Inclusion” category, created by the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) and the Ceibal Center Foundation.

The presentation was given by Dr. Eduardo Rodríguez Zidán, the institute’s associate academic coordinator for graduate programs, and Dr. Carlos Marcelo, a member of the Academic Committee for the Doctorate in Education and a visiting professor.

The fund aims to finance research projects that provide original data on social and/or educational aspects of the Ceibal Plan.
