Submission of new projects to the CIE

April 28, 2017
Four new projects were approved in April 2017 by the review committee of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE): Unify.bar, Nuda prop, Agrobeep, and Wikimúsculos.com.

Unify.bar is a sales hub —a virtual bar that’s always available—working with a large number of locations in Uruguay and other countries to form an extensive distribution network. It allows both brands and retailers to manage each customer’s profile independently, ensuring that information is constantly updated. It incorporates a solution that allows users to register and make purchases through a personalized app, displaying products and promotions tailored to the event, establishment, or profile. The project is led by Alejandro López, a Systems Engineering student, and Jorge Felippone.

Nuda Propiedades is the legal mechanism through which a homeowner can sell the title to their home while continuing to use the property. The project is part of a web platform, Nuda Prop, featuring technology specifically designed for investment development. The platform features listings of bare ownership properties with business-specific data, such as the owner’s age, type of usufruct, financing, credit rating, FAQs, and profitability simulations, to facilitate this type of business and make it scalable internationally. The project is led by Paula Bouzout, a graduate of the Public Accounting program, along with Constanza Boix and Sofía Boix.

Agrobeep is a platform that collects data from a network of sensors and generates valuable insights to support decision-making related to key activities in the national agricultural and wine sectors. The project is led by Maximiliano Casal, Agustín Arena, and Gonzalo Gutiérrez, graduates of the Systems Engineering program.

Wikimusculos.com is an online platform focused on fitness and sports in general. It has two main pillars: a website dedicated to providing information and an online store, allowing users to find all the supplies (nutritional supplements, specific foods, sports equipment, and clothing) necessary to meet their nutritional and athletic goals. The project is led by Maximiliano Cáceres, a graduate in Public Accounting.
