Spektorowski holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States. He served as a political advisor to former Israeli Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben-Ami, with whom he participated alongside Palestinian officials in the Camp David peace talks in 2000.
He is the author of the books *The Origins of Argentina’s Revolution of the Right* (University of Notre Dame Press, 2003), *The Politics of Eugenics: Productionism, Population, and National Welfare* ( Routledge Press, 2013), and *Nationalizing Islam* (forthcoming, State University of New York Press). He is a visiting professor at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
