Four case studies from the university were published in the anniversary edition of the El Empresario supplement of the newspaper El País

On June 30, 2017, the supplement *El Empresario* of the Montevideo-based newspaper *El País* published a special edition marking its 12th anniversary, dedicated to presenting a series of case studies on Uruguayan companies used by leading universities around the world. Of the six cases presented, four were developed at Universidad ORT Uruguay.

- “Pay True” by Marcel Mordezki, Ph.D., Professor of Technology Management and Innovation at the School of Business and Social Sciences, in collaboration with Luis Silva, Ph.D., Academic Coordinator of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, and Enrique Kramer, Academic Coordinator of Management and Administration at the school, published by Harvard University.

- “Memory” by Marcel Mordezki, published by the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

- “Microfin” by Enrique Kramer, academic coordinator of Management and Administration at the faculty, and Michael Chu, senior lecturer at Harvard Business School, published by Harvard University.

- “Nix” by Enrique Kramer, in collaboration with Prof. Yolanda Salinero, professor at the University of Toledo, published by Harvard University.

The articles were accompanied by interviews with the entrepreneurs, conducted by journalist Diego Ferreira. The cases published by Harvard University were channeled through the CLADEA-BALAS Case Consortium, an organization comprising a select group of Latin American universities that have set out to create a library of high-quality cases on companies across the continent.
