Publication of the book *The Ibero-American Process of Convergence with IFRS*

In July 2017, Gasca Publishing released the book *The Ibero-American Process of Convergence with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)* in Mexico City. The book includes the chapter “The Process of Convergence with IFRS in Uruguay” by Dr. Norma Pontet, professor of Management Accounting in the School of Business and Social Sciences.

The book discusses the organizations, standards, and mechanisms of International Financial Reporting Standards in Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Uruguay. It also provides an overview of XBRL, an international platform for the automatic exchange of financial information.
