Students are working on a preliminary design for the building that houses the Swiss Club

August 30, 2017
Students in Workshop 4 of the Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, held in August 2016, developed a preliminary design for the renovation of the building located at the intersection of Pablo de María Street and Bulevar España, which currently houses the Swiss Club. They collaborated with students from the program’s Entrepreneurship and Technology courses to approach the project from different disciplinary perspectives.

Students in the "Entrepreneurship" course proposed creating a new business opportunity by launching a startup that could coexist with the activities carried out within the Swiss Club.

Students in the "Technology" course proposed renovating and refurbishing the building, addressing structural issues and updating its facilities to provide the comfort and design necessary for the startup.

From the project’s perspective in Workshop 4, they developed the design of the spaces to house this venture and the club’s functions.

This exercise resulted in various proposals that were presented on August 23, 2017, to the Swiss Club’s management. The exhibition presented was a selection of the work carried out.
