José Pedro Gioscia, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Animation and Video Games, was invited in September 2017 by UNESCO to present his video game *Public Space* at the 10th UNESCO Youth Forum. This forum brings together young people from all over the world who design and lead initiatives related to UNESCO’s areas of expertise. The event will take place on October 25 and 26, 2017, in Paris.

Public Space is a video game developed as part of a final-year project, supervised by Dr. Gonzalo Frasca, professor of Video Games at the School of Communication and Design. In 2015, it won first prize in the National Video Game Competition in the Education and Social Inclusion category.

Joining Gioscia on the project are Bruno Arce, a student in the Bachelor’s program in Animation and Video Games, and Manuel Atienza, a graduate of the Information Technology Analyst and Programmer Analyst programs.

Public Space
is a social impact game for PC and mobile devices where players will experience firsthand the reality of street harassment against women.
