For the second consecutive year, ORT University won the University Sports Championship organized by the University of Montevideo, which took place from April 7 to 10.
127 students and alumni from our university competed in 11-a-side soccer, indoor soccer, women’s field hockey, women’s handball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, golf, and swimming. The women’s handball and tennis teams were crowned champions, while the women’s hockey, basketball, and golf teams finished as runners-up. The total score achieved was 230 points. The Catholic University took second place with 210 points, and the University of Montevideo came in third with 160 points.
