"Recent Projects" Lecture - November 26

On November 26, the Faculty of Architecture hosted the lecture "Recent Projects" by Argentine architect Gerardo Caballero, the professor in charge of the international graduate programs offered by Washington University in Barcelona and Buenos Aires.

Architect Caballero earned a Master of Architecture degree from Washington University in the United States.

He served as project coordinator for the Planning Department of the Municipality of Rosario.

Visiting professor at the University of Arkansas and the University of Kansas. He has been a visiting professor at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University and in the master’s program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

He has served as Max Fisher Visiting Professor at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

He participated in the exhibition *Arquitectura Emergente Argentina: Moderno Re Moderno* in Berlin, Germany.

He participated in the exhibition *Architecture in Latin American Culture: Argentina 1880–1995*, held in Italy.

He participated in the exhibition “Ten Ibero-American Architectures” in La Coruña, Spain.

In 1991, he received the Silver Medal at the Buenos Aires 91 Architecture Biennial at the International Forum of Young Architects.

In 1997, he received the Young Distinguished Alumni Award from Washington University.

He is a member of the Jury Committee of the Santa Fe College of Architects.
