Seminar: "Professional Event Planning in Today's World"

On June 2, 9, and 16, the seminar "Professional Event Planning in Today's World" was held in the Auditorium of the School of Communication and Design. The seminar was led by Prof. María José Álvez, Regional Director for Latin America atthe International Congress & Convention Association ( ICCA). The seminar was intended for students and graduates of the Technical Programs in Public Relations and Event Management, and the Corporate Communication and Public Relations Analyst Program.

On June 2, 9, and 16, the seminar "Professional Event Planning in Today's World" was held in the Auditorium of the School of Communication and Design, led by Prof. María José Álvez, Regional Director for Latin America atthe International Congress & Convention Association ( ICCA). The seminar was aimed at students and graduates of the Technical Programs in Public Relations and Event Management, and the Corporate Communication and Public Relations Analyst Program.

The speaker is a graduate of the Escuela Superior de Hotelería del Uruguay, a degree she complemented at the Cornell University Hotel School in New York, with a specialization in Marketing and Sales. She holds the“Certified Meeting Professional”(CMP) certification, awarded by the Conventions Industry Council, and is a member ofMeeting Professionals International (MPI).
