On May 20, the lecture "IT Costs: A Timely Challenge," presented by Diego Passadore, took place in the Auditorium of the School of Engineering. The event was organized by Vincular, the university-business liaison office, and the CIE (Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship) of the School of Engineering, in collaboration with the Uruguayan Association of Engineers.
The speaker has served as an International Consultant for the World Bank and on national and international projects for the IDB. He has been an Advisor to the Central Bank of Uruguay and an IT Consulting Manager at major banking institutions. He is currently a partner at the technology consulting firm Tigma, providing advisory and consulting services to various companies. He has delivered numerous lectures at conferences and universities and has published in specialized journals in the United States, Europe, and Uruguay. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering and has completed several postgraduate studies, including the BAI Graduate School of Bank Operations and Technology at the Bank Administration Institute in partnership with Vanderbilt University, Nashville, United States.
