On July 2, the course "ICT Management in Educational Institutions" was held in the Central Seminar Room. It was led by Mag. Gabriela Bernasconi, a professor and advisor for the Master’s in Educational Management at the Institute of Education, and a professor of Business Communication in the blended-learning workshop format at the School of Administration and Social Sciences.
The course aimed to analyze the impact of new information and communication technologies on education from the perspective of educational planning and management; to weigh the main benefits and obstacles, achievements and challenges; and to provide tools for managing the use of ICT to improve education and foster leadership based on a shared vision within the context of educational institutions.
Ms. Bernasconi holds a Master’s degree in Education and Society from the Catholic University of Uruguay. She served as Coordinator of the Distance Education and Educational Informatics Program at CODICEN and of the ITEEA Program for Full-Time Schools (MECAEP-CEP) at the National Public Education Administration. She has carried out her professional work in various fields, including elementary education, university teaching, and teacher training, at both public and private educational institutions.
