On August 12, the lecture "How to Turn an Idea into a Project" took place in the Auditorium of the School of Communication and Design. It was presented by digital and visual artist Manuel Cuchilla, animator the California Institute of the Arts ( CalArts).
The speaker serves as an Animation Instructor at the Community Arts Partnership in Los Angeles. Among the short films he has animated are: Osito (2003), El Grito (2005), and Pepe, The Grumpy Street Performer (2007).
The speaker addressed the creative process of developing an audiovisual project, providing a methodology that outlines the necessary stages, from the original idea to the proposed goal.
The event was supported by the U.S. Embassy in Uruguay.
